So a new year begins . . . . .

Well you can't call me anything but observant, I can spot a New Year months away- and one has to wonder what's ahead, although one does wonder what has been behind!

Detractors and demonisers of Israel seem to have the memory (and by and large the matching IQ) of a goldfish. They witter on continually about "occupied land", "Israel the oppressors", "Apartheid Israel" and other blame-cultural and blood-libelous horsedung, while NEVER referring to:

1. The 1967 and 1973 wars that, had the Arabs not started them in the first place, there would not have been a need for a so-called consequential 'occupation'. Will the UN now push for Pakistan to give itself back to India from whence it came with the loss at the time of over 1milion lives and 12million uprooted from their homes in 1947?
2. Referring to Israel as an Apartheid State when it is so clearly the ONLY fully-fledged democracy in the region. The lack of basic human rights let alone the oppression in some of the surrounding countries is astounding and totally defies description. And the one that cries the most 'wolf', Israel's Western neighbour Blame-Cultureland, does not even admit Jews (except donkeys such as Miriam Mygoolies and other similar self-blaming dregs of humanity on their publicity-seeking and career-rejuvenating ventures).
3. Professional, acknowledged and previously censured anti-Semites such as Jenny "Acid" Tonge and piddle-with-the-wind Wishy Washy Warsi are allowed to remain as ennobled members of Her Majesty's United Kingdom when they have so plainly crossed the divide between legitimate criticism of Israel and whipping up, encouraging, or in Tonge's case, actively acting as professional ambassadors for Jewhate
4. The political rules state that public officials, whether MP's or Councillors have a duty of care to put the requirements of their constituents first and foremost on their priority lists. Yet the likes of MP's Richard Burgon, Grahame Morris, Shabana Mamoud and others such as Alan Duncan, John McDonnell, David Ward and numerous councillors from the likes of Leicester Council spend an inordinate amount of time not only demonising Israel and whipping up anti-Jewish sentiment, but many actually waste taxpayers money visiting (only) Gaza and the West Bank, further  acting as ambassadors for blame-culture, Israel-demonisation and Jewhate
5. The detracting anti-Israel brigade and the UN have NEVER questioned the commonly acknowledged fact that the Hamas leadership, since taking over (been elected, ha ha) Gaza, has misappropriated over $10billion of world-donated funds. Also, that they have spent most of the past 10 years living in 5-6 Star luxury in Doha, Qatar, is never questioned. The Hamas Charter, with its Jew-murdering content has similarly never been questioned by the likes of the UN who are so quick with their partisan resolutions against Israel while the rest of the world get away scot-free with far more serious abuses of their own.
6. (Added, thanks to RS) The disgraceful UN resolution that "Zionism is racism" fiasco, while people get their knickers in a twist when it is suggested that Islam might not perhaps always be the religion of peace it's cracked up to be. This probably goes quite a way to help explain why the charitable, people-loving, life-loving, culture-loving, western culture-respecting, peaceful members of so-called Islamic State have the word "Islamic" in their title. They just spell their version "pieceful" - human pieceful - but hey, it's more fun demonising Israel to take peoples' minds off all of that. Besides, we have the new hip, meaningless phrase, "post-truth". Let's man (or woman) up and face it and look at all the Jews who have driven planes into buildings, blown themselves up on buses, in trains, on the underground, in restaurants and how many have run rampant with guns in public places, at rock concerts, on marathon runs all in the name of Kind David. ET phone home.

Just remarking. Happy New Year to all.

Has Turkey been well and truly basted?

I have been to Turkey on holiday several times over the past 25 years, the first being on honeymoon to a very undeveloped Bodrum, before the townspeople realised there was money to be made from the all-night drinking, Union Jack pants-wearing, tattooed, face-rivited and ridiculous haircutted brigade - and that's only the British women.

In fairness, each holiday we took was delightful, the only down side whatsoever being the fact that when you walked past a restaurant, some member of staff wanted to drag you in kicking and screaming to eat what they perceive as being required, wholesome 'good burger and 'sips (chips) and big beer' as the standard fare for the average British holidaymaker. Not for us I'm afraid.

Yes, we have only ourselves to blame on that score.

However, wherever we went, the adulation by the Turkish people for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the former Turkish army officer, revolutionary, and the first President of Turkey, defied description. By all accounts a moderniser, hero, visionary and man of the people who dragged his country kicking and screaming into the 20th century. In the meantime there have been several coups to maintain this status quo of modernity, compared with say Iran which has successfully managed to transport itself back to the 16th century, while making those who saw the Shah as a corrupt money-grabber and suppressors of human rights and values, the Ayatollas, far more wealthy and corrupt in comparison than any way the Shah and his family ever were, and with oppression far outstripping anything the Shah even ever privately dreamt about.

Which is what makes it all the more strange regarding the carry-on by the current Islamist president Recep Tayip Erdogen. All the hard work of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the wonderful life his people enjoyed for decades seems to be slowly eroding away. The recent failed coup, resulting in the unbelievably swift arrest of 6,000 people over the course of a mere two days, are nothing if quasi-fascist in tendency. Plainly Erdogen had his hit-list of opponents ready and waiting for any excuse to remove them from circulation. So much so, it may, at the risk of suggesting a conspiracy theory, they he might have engineered the coup himself, just to be rid of his opponents.

But this appears to have totally gone over the heads of the common people. That 6,000 people could be rounded up and transported away over a mere 48 hours.

Yes, OK, Mr Erdogen has improved the health services dramatically, something the common people see (potentially their only real contact with the state) on a daily basis, but this has been offset by, for example, creeping religion that no one really wants in the form of the removal of Darwin from the syllabus in universities, a creeping campaign against alcohol consumption, the building of increasing numbers of faceless mosques complete with call-to-prayers booming out in a language (classical Arabic) that very few - if any - Turkish people actually understand.

Dark days ahead indeed with this man as President.

Is proscription the approaching answer to radicalised Islam?

It is very sad when a major world religion is really on the point of having to be proscribed. Virtually all atrocities in the World since 9/11 have been committed by the lunatic fringe of Islam that has done nothing but bring the entire religion into ill-repute.

It is a great shame, because all of my Muslim friends, without exception, are very much like myself - they have simply been born into their religion and just pay lip service to either their parents or families to keep the peace (so to speak, i.e. stave off parents, siblings or clerics who would soil their underclothes if they knew they didn't exactly keep to Ramadan, they enjoyed a Guinness during the week, or a night out with a young lady/man not of the faith). It is such a shame.

However, unlike say the IRA running their rackets and wanting a united Ireland, Islamic extremism is driven by weirdbeard 'clerics' who want a Sharia world and simply do not tolerate anyone of any other creed who doesn't believe in, or want to convert to their warped 14th Century beliefs, blame culture and pseudo superiority complexes.

It is not helped by the warmongering multi-millionaire mad mullahs in Iran (ironic that is is actually France's fault for letting Ayatoilet Konmerchat go back in 1979 - the looneybeards seem to have forgotten that - so much for France helping Iran to establish extremism, what a pay-back they have received).

It IS coming to the stage where it has to be called what it is to perhaps embarrass the moderate norms, those who are in a leadership position, to do something about it. And the media, so often themselves the targets of these antisocial and unacceptable "Fatwahs" have to take some responsibility themselves in order to preserve their own freedoms.

I never remember Gerry Adams ever calling for the death of the editor of the Times for posting a satirical cartoon about Sinn Fein or the IRA. And that's with the IRA being founded on fact, unlike religions, where there is no proof and only fairy tales driving their beliefs (and that goes for all religions [the cult Scientology aside, founded on the need for L Ron Hubbard who actually admitted he started it because he wanted to be rich - tell that to Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Beck, peaches Geldof and Edgar Winter] by the way, all 4,950 or so of them inhabiting the world today).

Wake up world!

As Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) 2016 begins this evening for 24 hours, perhaps those who are unsure about the predicament Israel faces on a daily basis may care to view this short video of the educational theatre that Gazan children are encouraged to perform.

Yes, I may be partisan, but how many of my true friends really blame me when I get rather heated in my reaction to the consistent demonisation Israel faces at the hands of a race who so clearly do not imbue any sense of peace whatsoever in their upcoming generations?

I remind you all that In 1999 the Palestinians were offered a two-state solution by Israel giving in to 99% of their demands. Yet Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader declined; the world was confused. Peace on a plate. Refused.

They were then given Gaza in 2005 in exchange for peace - meanwhile 11,000 rockets and several hundred million dollars worth of collapsing terror tunnels later - nada!

Yes, I do indeed feel sorry for the average, everyday Palestinian and the situation they are in. In spite of receiving tens of billions of dollars in aid and investment, Gaza has no infrastructure to speak of. It is a crumbling country, a failed state. It could by now have been one of the most advanced states in the Middle East had the money been spent properly and had they chosen to work with Israel instead of against it (something Hamas don’t want because it will ruin the 5-star luxury their leaders enjoy in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Dubai). It could have been a tourist hotspot (who knows, maybe Arab states competing for the tallest hotel in the world didn't want it to rain on their Guinness World record parade, and sacrificing a few Palestinians and getting the world's uneducated Jewhaters to cry "shame, all Israel's fault" was firmly on their agenda in the first place!)

Meanwhile in Gaza, roads are falling apart, hospitals are below poor (180,000 Palestinians have received treatment, without discrimination, in Israeli hospitals since 2005) and the infrastructure is some of the worst in the world.

All completely self-inflicted. Relying totally on blame-culture against Israel yet constantly and consistently crying to the world for help.

Meanwhile, Israel gets on with it, inventing technological marvels (this Facebook page for starters not to forget the Pentium and Celeron PC's you might be using and the Windows operating system installed thereon), continuing to share its scientific, medical and agricultural innovations with a world that is so quick to condemn and support thoroughly Jewhating organisations such as the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the professionally antisocial and hypocritical Boycott movement (run, incidentally, by a Qatari Millionaire from Gaza, that is, when he's not in the luxury flat he owns in Tel Aviv following the Israeli Masters Degree he paid to study for in Tel Aviv University - is that not abject and hateful hypocrisy?)

Yes "Free Palestine", but it isn't from the Israelis they need freeing and it certainly should not continue to be free for the Palestinian elite to enjoy their millions and millions of dollars through the ongoing misappropriation of billions of world aid while citizens of Gaza continue to suffer.
If Martin McGuinness and the IRA could see sense - a sense that resulted in him shaking the hand of Her Majesty the Queen, a head of state he originally despised so much. then why can't the PA and Hamas?

Surely Palestinian citizens should be far more important than being impoverished, disposable pawns in the billionaire chess game that Hamas continue to play with such drama?

When will the world ever wake up?

Who is the ignoramus who coined the term “Israel Apartheid”?

I’ve been trying to identify the actual ignoramus who invented the phrase “Israel Apartheid”, the one beloved by the Jew-haters who use this factually, morally, and historically inaccurate term that does nothing but attempt to delegitimise Israel and help foster anti-Semitism. Sadly, I had little success.

Needless to say, what I did discover, was that this phrase has its roots in the now totally unfit-for-purpose United Nations, filled, as it is, to capacity with overpaid buffoons where, through its own partisan anti-Israel resolutions which, by the UN’s own definition, is itself a haven of Apartheid against Jews.

While virtually all Arab countries, without exception, don’t themselves allow Palestinians any form of democracy or statehood, this is conveniently forgotten by the useless and bigoted mandarins of the United Nations. For example, the 300,000 Palestinians in Lebanon do not have citizenship, are not allowed own property and cannot enter many ‘desirable’ occupations (law, medicine, architecture, engineering). Yet during 2014 there were 20 UN resolutions against Israel (where 1.6million Israeli Arab citizens are protected by equal opportunity that is enshrined in Israeli Law and applies to each and every citizen) with the sum total of zero resolutions against Lebanon!

That, to me, indicates something at the UN is broken.

Arabs in Israel, like Jews, Christians, other believers and atheists/agnostics are allowed to freely do anything in Israel that is legal, decent and honest, without fear of prosecution.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia during 2014, remember, the year of 20 UN resolutions against Israel and zero against Saudi Arabia, they continued to try, convict, and imprison political dissidents and human rights activists solely on account of their peaceful activities. Systematic discrimination against women and religious minorities continues. Saudi Arabia does not permit public worship by religions other than Islam. Detainees, including children, commonly face systematic violations of due process and fair trial rights, including arbitrary arrest and torture and ill-treatment in detention. Saudi judges routinely sentence defendants to floggings of hundreds of lashes. Saudi Arabia’s discriminatory male guardianship system remains intact. Women are not allowed to visit a male doctor without their male guardians. Women are not allowed to drive and they do not have an equal right to divorce and often face discrimination in relation to child custody. There are male-only football matches. And non-Muslims have to seek out an alternative road route should their journey take them anywhere near Mecca.

Over 9 million migrant workers fill manual, clerical, and service jobs in Saudi Arabia, constituting more than half the workforce. Many suffer abuses and exploitation, sometimes amounting to conditions of forced labour.

Then in 2015, with no UN resolutions against them for their abuses of basic human rights, Saudi Arabia was appointed to head the UN Human Right Commission.

In other words, the Un lunatics allowed their fellow Saudi lunatics to run the UN asylum.

Even the most hardened or ignorant critic of Israel must be able to see something is amiss here. Otherwise their sheer stupidity surely outruns their already ingrained anti-Semitism.

Why we need to drop the term "anti-Semitism"

"Conflate"
"Zionism canard"
"Trope"
"Zionist control of the media"
"Apartheid Israel"

These are words beloved by the Jew haters formerly known as anti-Semites.

Let's face it. Anti-Semites, are, by and large Jew-haters. And should be referred to as so.  Straightforwardly and simply as easy as that. Jews know these anti-Semites are Jew-haters. And while most of these Jew-haters themselves may not necessarily know, be it through their own blind ignorance, bigotry or a sad upbringing why they are so inclined, they know full well that they are too. Yes. Jew-haters. Modern-day Nazis. Nothing more and, quite despicably, nothing less.

And they all follow almost an identical pattern when they are engaged with. They become profane. They bully. They quote Palestinian blame-culture myths. And they are never ones to hide complete lies and fabrication under their bushels. They simply cannot let the truth get in the way of their blind hatred. And they trot out the words "Conflate", "Zionism canard", "Trope", "Zionist control of the media" and"Apartheid Israel" ad nauseam.

The likes of the extremely noxious Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) or the unbelievably hypocritical and thoroughly anti-social Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) operate in a totally closed cabal of hatred that festers with each successive Israeli success and each successive failure of the people, the Palestinians, they dishonestly claim to support. I say claim, because they prove, day-in, day-out that they couldn't actually care less for the plight of the Palestinians. All they care about is whipping up further Jew-hatred amongst their incredibly thick and non-objective supporters whose only concern is the demonisation of Israel, the demise of Israel and the murder of Jews.

It's there in black and white in the Hamas Charter. Push the Jews into the sea. Don’t rest until the Jews are gone. And ironically, the holy Koran itself actually preaches against such hatred.

The same people don't care that Hamas siphon off world aid that should go towards the Palestinian people, and instead has created over 1,600 millionaires and a further almost 2,000 near millionaires in Gaza since 2005, all on unearned income. They don't care that extrapolated out over 10 years since 2005, an average of five rockets a day have been dispatched into Israel. They don't take heed of the fact that if Hamas are going to attack Israel, it is an obvious result that Israel will retaliate. In fact, they prefer retaliation, hoping that one or more of their own will be killed, because in their eyes it is worth it that one of their own dies if the end result is condemnation of Israel by the world media and yet another partisan resolution by the useless and completely unfit-for-purpose United Nations.

The Jew-haters have a perverted love affair with the words "Conflate", "Zionism canard", "Trope", "Zionist control of the media" and"Apartheid Israel". Thus far, they have got away with, literally, murder, as they attempt to excuse their Jew-hate by it being "conflated with Zionism". Jew-haters are, almost without exception, the ONLY section of 'society' who use that term. It's a great scapegoat to help them disguise their Jew-hate. To accuse their detractors of 'conflating' anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.

Utter rubbish! The PCS and BDS are nothing but bigoted Jew-haters. End of. Jews are not 'conflating' anything. It's a rock-solid fact. The PCS and BDS are simply unabridged Jew-haters! And their style of pseudo anti-Zionism is nothing but anti-Semitism and Jew-hate

Take the wonderful, modern-day fiction that the British media are controlled by Zionists. Really? Ask them precisely which media, and they immediately retort with profanity. Yes, it is true that both the Jewish Chronicle and Jerusalem Post are both controlled by Zionists. The clue is in their respective titles. And yes, the Daily and Sunday Express and Star were once owned by a Jewish man, but aren't now. And how about the Daily/Sunday Times, Daily/Sunday Telegraph, Daily/Sunday Mail, Guardian, Independent, London Evening Standard, Observer, Daily/Sunday Mirror, Financial Times, BBC, ITV, Sky, UK regional dailies and weeklies? I don't see many Zionists in control there. In fact I don't see any Jews in control there at all, let alone Zionists. Rupert Murdoch, the Barclay twins, the Rothemeres, Eugeny Lebedev - not very Jewish at all. Or am I mistaken and they are in fact closet Jews? Closet Zionists?

I don't think so.

By all means criticise the Israeli government. People always criticise governments. But don't use blame-culture nonsense as an excuse. Introduce some facts into the criticism. The rockets. The terror tunnels. The terrorism. The fake Palestinian propaganda. The fact that the world didn’t care less one way or another about the Palestinians before the 1973 Yom Kippur war (one of defence!). The fact that the  Al Aqsa Mosque was built ON TOP of the temple mount (therefore AFTER the Jewish temple) and not only that Jerusalem is not mentioned in the holy Koran, but Muslims often pray facing Mecca with their backs to Jerusalem whilst Jews throughout the world have always prayed facing Jerusalem

But the constant demonisation of Israel and Jews has now become as utterly despicable as it is unacceptable. And it needs to stop.

Just try looking at yourself in a mirror and, if you have any sort of backbone whatsoever, ask yourself why?

Just ask yourself what you would do if you were constantly under attack in your own home from rockets. Or if a neighbour was borrowing a tunnel from their side of the road to yours in an attempt to murder your family. Or your neighbours stoned your car each time you drove past their house. Or if a neighbour told you to boycott Tesco while continuing to shop there themselves. Or if an elderly neighbour was waiting at a city suburban bus top and a youth drove a car or motorcycle into them in an attempt to kill them?

Well?

Blame culture - never their own fault, ever. Always someone else's.

To make a mistake is human nature, to make the same mistake twice crosses the line between unfortunate and stupid and to make the same mistake three times is the stuff of HR departments.

Over the past months, we have witnessed a ridiculously high number of anti-Semitic incidents in UK Labour politics that have been outed, mainly because the internet has a far longer memory than it has ever had since Sir Tim Berners-Lee first unleashed it and Google and Facebook subsequently took it over! This has also occurred because while current UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has stated he will not tolerate anti-Semitism - as well as other forms of racism – he has not only been spectacularly slow at actioning his promises, but keeps the company, or counts as his friends, some quite spectacular anti-Semites and Israel-demonisers such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA/Sinn Fein.

In mid-2016, Luton's youngest councillor, 20-year-old Aysegul Gurbuz, was suspended from the Labour Party for some of her twitter posts, including that Hitler is the "greatest man in history" and "The Jews are so powerful in the US it's disgusting."

While the tweets were sent by her way back in 2011, Garbuz immediately attempted to at first blame her sister, before claiming "multiple people had access to my account and the tweets made do not reflect what I believe” before finally admitting “I take full responsibility for what was spoken in my name. I believe it is the right thing to acknowledge the pain I have caused and have resigned."

As if any teenager puts her phone down for even ten minutes!

Similarly, Naz Shah from Bradford, in 2014 and some nine months before she became an MP, tweeted that Israel should “relocate to the US” and posted an article that likened Zionism to al-Qaida. She went on to say that “Americans would welcome Israelis with open arms” and that the relocation would bring peace to the Middle East by ending “foreign interference”. Full-on blame culture with no mention about Muslim terrorist organisations in the middle east, continual broken Gazan ceasefires with Israel or the 11,000 rocket attacks into Israel from Gaza since Israel kept to its promise and moved out of Gaza in 2005 in exchange for peace - a peace Hamas have never provided. Naz also tried to blame her tweets on the “tensions in Gaza at the time”, despite her living in Bradford, some 2,300 miles away.

Plainly, if she cannot hold herself responsible and accountable for her own actions, she should not be in public life and a Member of the British Parliament.

To quote the Politics Today programme on BBC 2 on 27th April 2016 (by the way, the BBC is certainly not a "Zionist-controlled mainstream media" either - if it was it wouldn't continually send the appallingly partisan and Palestinian-apologists Jeremy Bowen and Orla Guerin (both who have fallen victim, hook, line and sinker to Islamic blame culture) to the Middle East!
 . . . . . . . Andrew Neil (Daily Politics - 27 April 2016)

"What goes through somebody's mind that they post 'Let's not forget everything Hitler did was legal'? It's like something you'd expect from the Klu Klux Klan and when Eichmann suggested in the 40's that all Jews should be deported to Madagascar."
. . . . . . . Liam Fox (Daily Politics - 27 April 2016)

"It's not just about the posts but about whether you share the sentiments of the posts and whether you write them. There is something wrong with processes if the tweets were sent before she became an MP and then, how she was selected and elected with these (tweets) not picked up. How could she be allowed as a candidate to stand with these comments out there on social media? It's all about sympathising with the views and not the timing of when they were sent out."

Aside from the overt anti-Semitism exhibited, what is deeply worrying is the blame culture and inability to immediately accept responsibility for their own actions. This is very much a consequence of the thick dividing line between the Judeo-Christian west, with its ability to accept guilt, and the Islamic east, which has a very long tradition of blame culture against others for its ills. It's really just all about guilt and the apportioning of blame to assuage that guilt rather than be honest and accept it. It’s an ancient cultural carry-over that has only become more evident in British society over the past 20 - if that - years, as physical proof to the contrary now surfaces more readily and easily to override and correctly apportion the blame.

Here in the West, we have a tendency toward the acknowledgement of guilt, whether this is rightly or wrongly, meaning that as a result, the role of culprit is readily adopted. We promote self-criticism, and with this we similarly possess the capacity for self-correction. As the modern West has become more modern, the Christian notion of "original sin" has thus been secularised to quite an extent. Islam, however, does not allow for any notion of "original sin". Combined with equality and diversity and a fear of being accused of harbouring Islamophobic tendencies, this has expressed itself in a form of Western acceptance of blame for the Islamic-Arab world, when in reality they are very much wholly responsible for their own ills. Islam has absolutely no historical tradition, belief or customs relating to collective guilt. A practicing Muslim becomes certain of attaining his salvation just through the fulfilment of Allah's commandments.

In the Middle and Far East it is a totally different story where one’s own guilt and insufficiencies are always apportioned to others. Self-criticism is rarely, if ever, practiced, so being able, or having the free will to self-correct, is consequently very restricted. They are very happy, and in fact almost always prefer to be seen as the victim, receiving great support from conspiracy theories that are so easily spread via electronic and social media in an attempt to justify that which is otherwise very anti-social behaviour. And sadly, that guilt is strictly a personal burden, and one that can be dispensed with by the ritual and very adherence to Allah's laws. But like anything that is from the hand of man, it can be slightly, somewhat or majorly abused. And there are none of the inconvenient moral dilemmas that are such a characteristic of both Christianity and Judaism. There is simply no collective guilt passed from one Muslim generation to the next.

Where the two cultures conflict and collide, the West can no longer function with a free hand very much because of its own self-imposed moral constraints. And it’s not a criticism, Islamophobia or otherwise to point out that Islam does not promote or allow for the formation of free will or any individual responsibility. In the Islamic concept of man, free will is totally subservient to Allah's all-encompassing pre-ordained plan. And we see this regularly manifest itself in some of the what we consider quite outlandish and often self-violent YouTube videos of practices so foreign to Westeners that we consider them to be almost unbelievable.

Our own self-imposed restrictions regarding blame and acceptance of responsibility are readily construed as a weakness by what has now become an aggressive blame society abroad. Our acceptance of blame and responsibility are subsequently not respected in situations of conflict, instead, being simply and crassly exploited. And with so many Muslim leaders now sitting in positions of responsibility on United Nations committees, this is one of the main reasons so many partisan and often straightforwardly anti-Semitic motions and resolutions are passed by that once-respected, but now totally farcical, body of people.

They have been taken in and connived by blame culture to the extent that it has become the easiest and most convenient option open to them. Despite huffing and puffing about equality, diversity and human rights, it has become easier for the UN to pander and accept the blame-culture of the 23% / 1.7billion of the world’s population that is Muslim and who occupy the world’s 50 Muslim-majority countries rather than the 0.2% / 14million free-thinking Jews, half of whom occupy one single sliver of land and who Muslims feel, as a result of their own cultural impression, they can continually blame and also generate and spread conspiracy theories about.

And despite the presence of a large Muslim population in Israel, the fact Israel is the nearest Western-style democracy, one that has been extremely successful and productive without oil reserves, and one that has to be on red alert 24/7 makes it possibly the easiest blame-culture target in the world for Muslims.

Muslims use conspiracies as self-reassuring clarifications for complete strokes of fate, which they feel are due to God's inexplicable wishes. It’s not a criticism, neither is it intended as a snide comment about, or a debasement of Islam, but If a Muslim is dealt a hand from his Allah that he can't influence, he doesn't take any responsibility or accountability for it. It is similar to Roman Catholicism where forgiveness is sought and accepted from the parish priest for sin, with many people claiming that as the very way members of the IRA cleared their consciences after having committed otherwise less-than-legal acts. It’s the often contentious way religion works, and while there are many adherents who will follow it honestly, there are those who will otherwise use it to their own nefarious advantage. That’s human nature!

So while we in the West organise all-day rock concerts to feed the starving millions in Africa because of our guilt for having enough food on our own tables, even though we have gone out and worked to earn the money to pay for that food, regardless of its obscene oil wealth, the Muslim in the Middle East (and further) will remain depicted as a victim.

We will feel sorry for ourselves for using legitimate force when required, while merely tut-tutting as Christians are wiped out by extreme Muslims. We will feel guilty about the third world, so pile on the cash donations, while the super-rich Arab states will continue to do nothing, instead, imbuing their blame culture in a totally different direction, blaming the USA and Israel for the lack of peace in the Middle East.

The Islamists will continue to detest Western democratic values of man-made origin that contradict their own Sharia which they claim descends from God. Yet if they are anyway politically mistreated in any country apart from that of their origin, they won't hesitate to denounce it, blame others and take to the street with their violent denunciations, threats and then subsequent hypocritical appeals to human rights. And countries and Gaza-apologists (remember, Gaza is ruled by a terrorist organisation whose 4 most senior activists [living in 5-star luxury in Doha of course, Gaza is not good enough for them] have amassed a $10billion+ fortune between them*, never having done a day's work in the past 10 years and just completely coincidentally since they took over in Gaza 10 years ago; also, as of May 2018, Mahmoud Abbas, is currently 14 years years into a 4-year term of office as President of the West Bank PA because he won;t allow elections and he is in the process of increasing his $500million fortune and $50million private jet) fall for it, hook, line and sinker.

And sadly, so many guilt-aware westerners are so easily taken in by this hypocrisy.

* explanations for this amassed fortune appreciated
